Helping Hands Pet Sitter

Helping Hands makes every effort to meet the needs of all customers and their pets.

A “Meet and Greet” in your home is required prior to providing this service to new clients.  At this meeting, you and your pets will have the opportunity to meet with me, as we review your pet’s needs and/or house sitting instructions.

Helping Hands Pet Sitter provides backup sitters for your pets in case your primary sitter becomes unavailable.  There may be circumstances where the backup sitter needs to be used at the last minute, before you have a chance to meet that sitter.  We will make every effort to advise you of this switch in advance. 

Reservations can be made via email on the link provided below or phone.  Reservations must be made a minimum of 24 hours prior to time of service to receive an approval.  If a service is needed in less than 24 hours, please call to schedule an appointment at (518) 698-3534.  Confirmation of service will be provided by email or verbal approval from Helping Hands Pet Sitter.

Rates for Overnight/In-Home stays:

Rates are based on how many pets need caring for and their needs. Please call the office at (518) 698 3534 to discuss pricing.

Serving Schoharie and surrounding counties. Payment options are cash, local check or major credit card.

Holiday visits require an additional fee of $5 per day.  Major holidays include the following:  New Year's Eve, New Year's Day, Easter, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.  The charge is for each day of the entire holiday booking.

At time of contracted booking, fifty percent of the total charge must be paid to secure the service on the dates requested with the remaining balance due on the first day of service.  In the event your visit is extended or shortened, please note that your payment will be adjusted at the end of your last scheduled visit. 

Helping Hands Pet Sitter is bonded and insured.  You will be given a copy of the insurance certificate at the Meet and Greet.
